Tonight , we celebrate our Summer Master Class series with our final class-

This is also a special class because it is Nate's last class at CMC before he moves to LA in September to pursue his professional dance career!  Come out and celebrate, dance & help us give Nate a great send off!

Meet the fabulous instructor:

Stephanie Turek

Ohio born, raised, and trained, Stephanie Turek now lives in Los Angeles, California.  She attended Point Park University on a dance scholarship and began her professional career at eighteen when she was offered her first contract with Stiletto Entertainment and Holland America Cruise Line and was later featured on Oprah Winfrey’s “Trip of a Lifetime.”  After four years of traveling the world as a principle dancer and dance captain at Stiletto Entertainment, she was recently promoted to Show Director and was responsible for helping create the show, "Dancing with the Stars." Since her move to LA in 2011, Stephanie has had opportunities to work with top choreographers such as Melanie Lewis and Gustavo Vargas, she was a featured dancer in a Janet Jackson tribute production, she recently signed with Go-2 Talent Agency, and continues to study at all of the major studios with a focus in jazz, jazz funk, and heels.

Summer Dance has started at CMC!!!

This past week, our princess, rockstar, and all-star dance camps have begun!  All of our students enjoyed conditioning for summer and learning new stunning choreography from all of our teachers!  Monday night kicked off our master class series with a master class from the director of Cleveland's own Morrison Dance Company, Sarah Morrison! All of the students that took part in her class studied a new "sand-pouring" technique, and worked on some non-traditional partnering skills.  Overall, this week has been phenomenal and we can't wait for week 2 of Summer Dance at Creative Movement Center!!!!!

Don't forget about this Monday's Intermediate/Advanced Ballet Master Class with Stephanie Krise, a dancer and choreographer at Verb Ballet!
