Midwest Moves Dance Convention

Midwest Moves Dance Convention hosted by CMC on Sunday, November 9th was a huge success!
Thank you to the amazing master teachers from NYC - Manwe, Chio, Ms. Vee, Jamie J and Joel for a day of awesome classes!  Congrats to CMCompany dancers, Bela Insana and Ella Cameratta for winning the Midwest Moves' Scholarships! Way to go , dancers!

Bring A Friend to Dance Week at CMC !

NOVEMBER 3th - 9th

This week is BRING A FRIEND TO
DANCE WEEK AT CMC!

Dancers, you are welcome to bring a friend to your class this week-


Please keep in mind that :

1. Friends must be age appropriate for the class they are attending.
2. Friends should have appropriate foot wear for class.
3. Friends will need a parent/ guardian/ adult to sign a registration form allowing them to partipate.  Registration forms are available on our website www.creativemovementcenter.com or in our lobby.
COMPANY DANCERS- we are asking that you DO NOT bring a friend to your Company ballet or jazz classes.
We are starting to work on choreography for our upcoming Company performances and every class minute counts!  Company dancers- you are welcome however, to come TRY ANY OTHER class you would like during the week! Check out a tap class, hip hop, acro, broadway jazz and have FUN!

Dance Marathon

Our 5th Annual Dance Marathon to benefit Dancing Classrooms Northeast Ohio was a huge success!

Participants had a blast taking master classes in African Jazz & Zumba and loved learning more about Dancing Classrooms! The dancers ended the night with a fun talent show!  Thank you so much to all who participated and fundraised!  For more info. on the awesome program , please check out :

Spirit Week at CMC is so much fun!
The dancers is Miss Hay's combo class this morning showed their spirit and had a blast dancing to "Surfin Safari" and going on a "beach parade"!  Way to show your spirit, dancers!

Season 6 is off to a great start!

CMC is the place to be - SEASON 6 ROCKS! 

Summer Mondays Rock at CMC~!

CMC is the only PLACE TO BE on MONDAY nights this summer! STARTING June 2nd... DROP IN ANY MONDAY night! NO need to pre-register , just drop in! 6:30-7:30 pm - 2014 SENIORS TEACH! Each Monday , take class from one of your 2014 CMCompany Seniors! Classes are $10 and 100% of the proceeds go to the Seniors trip to NYC!  Come take class and support your Company dancers! AGES 10 and up welcome- classes are taught at an intermediate level 7:30-8:30 pm - Miss Hayley's Intermediate Lyrical (ages 10+) Intermediate lyrical class taught by Miss Hay- technique and combo will be taught each week . FEE- DONATIONS only!  All donations will go to the NYC trip ! Suggested donation per Monday - $5-$10 is great or whatever you have! 8:30-10:00 pm Miss Hayley's "CANDLE LIT" - Advanced Lyrical  (ages teen to adult- class is taught at Advanced level) DONATIONS only - will go towards dancer's NYC trip Dancers- COME dance with us ANY MONDAY & help send CMC dancers to NYC! COMPANY DANCERS-

 Lake Erie Monsters dance will be rehearsed before the start of the Saturday 4:00 Company show.  All Company dancers are expected to arrive in their first costume by 2:45 – report to the stage to warm up and to rehearse the Lake Erie dance.
